Friday afternoon we got to go on top of the roof at UMC and check out the Air Care helicopter! It was an absolutely beautiful clear day- the first one all week! Nathan was doing an elective week with Air Care so it was the perfect time to check it out. The helicopter had not flown all week due to the weather but Friday afternoon and evening, Nathan got to go on two flights! Now of course, Noah did not get a free ride- we just looked- but for a 3 year old that is pretty awesome! He loved it and had so many questions for the pilot- Mr. Mark- who is pictured below. He got to sit in the pilot seat and put on the helmet- which he did not like and immediately removed. He even got to peek in the back where they put the patients. We all learned some pretty interesting trivia about the helicopter and the whole operation.
